Supplier ESG Portal
SEBI's BRSR framework requires ESG data from partners covering 75% of your value chain. Currently voluntary (deferred per SEBI March 2025 circular), mandatory implementation date has not yet been confirmed by SEBI. Our digital platform collects, normalises, and verifies supplier ESG data at scale — making you assurance-ready, not audit-anxious.
Value Chain Disclosure — Prepare Now
SEBI's BRSR framework requires listed companies to collect and disclose ESG data across their supply chain. Most companies aren't equipped.
The 2%/75% Rule
Companies must identify partners comprising at least 2% of purchases or sales, covering a minimum of 75% of total value chain. This pulls hundreds — sometimes thousands — of unlisted suppliers, vendors, and distributors into ESG compliance for the first time.
Scope 3 Becomes Non-Negotiable
For most companies, Scope 3 (value chain) emissions account for 70-90% of total carbon footprint. Without supplier data, your GHG inventory is incomplete and your SBTi targets are unachievable. Assurance providers will flag this gap.
Manual Collection Doesn't Scale
Email-based supplier surveys typically suffer from low response rates, take months to complete, and produce inconsistent data that fails assurance. You need a structured digital platform — not spreadsheets and follow-up emails.

Supply Chain ESG FAQ
Is BRSR value chain disclosure mandatory?
BRSR value chain disclosure has been deferred per SEBI’s March 2025 circular. The original plan required ESG data from partners covering 75% of value chain by value. While the mandatory date has not been confirmed, SEBI has indicated it will become mandatory. Forward-looking companies are building value chain data collection systems now to avoid scrambling when the mandate activates.
What supplier ESG data is needed for BRSR?
BRSR value chain disclosure requires ESG data from suppliers covering 75% of procurement value. Key data points include: Scope 3 GHG emissions (Category 1 — purchased goods and services), water consumption, waste generation, labour practices (safety, wages, diversity), and environmental compliance status. The exact BRSR parameters map to the same 9 NGRBC principles applied to the reporting entity.
How do you collect ESG data from hundreds of suppliers?
Our Supplier ESG Portal uses a digital platform approach: (1) prioritise suppliers by procurement value (top 75%), (2) send automated questionnaires via the portal, (3) suppliers input data directly, (4) automated validation flags inconsistencies, (5) data is normalised and aggregated for BRSR reporting. Start with critical Tier 1 suppliers and expand coverage phased over 2–3 years.
Does EU CSRD affect Indian supply chains?
Yes. EU companies subject to CSRD must report on their value chain under ESRS. Indian suppliers to EU companies may receive CSRD data requests from their EU customers. The EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) additionally requires EU companies to conduct human rights and environmental due diligence across their supply chains — directly impacting Indian tier-1 and tier-2 suppliers.
What is Scope 3 and why does it matter?
Scope 3 refers to indirect GHG emissions across a company’s value chain — both upstream (purchased goods, business travel, employee commuting) and downstream (use of sold products, end-of-life treatment). For most companies, Scope 3 represents 70–90% of total GHG footprint. BRSR includes Scope 3 as a Leadership Indicator. CDP, SBTi, and ESG rating agencies increasingly evaluate Scope 3 management. Supply chain ESG data is essential for credible Scope 3 estimation.
